The Client Loved All Three… But

•September 23, 2008 • 1 Comment

Step 3

The client loved the 3 you selected, but now they need you to select your favorite one.  Select the logo you think is best, then design a business card around and with that logo.  Make sure the card represents the company and be sure to have all of this done by Tuesday morning, before your final meeting with the client and designing firm.   Remember to package your work for presentation on Tuesday.  Make sure your final work is crisp exciting well put together and clean and ready for presentation on the  big screen when you walk into the classroom.  Be able to show your work from the beginning to the very final selection and business card.

Good luck!

Well, for those of you who created your blogs on time, great job.  I will place a link on the right side of my  blog for viewing, once you send your Blog address to me.  I will also be grading your blogs, if you turned them in on time. (Anytime before Tuesday the 23rd start of class.) Otherwise, just complete your blog, and upload your logo designs on a separate page for viewing.  You can also create a box.net account for viewing and downloading your artwork,  like the example Ive created in my right menu.  I will began grading your logo’s Today.  I will select 4-5 logo’s for you to continue to work with.

These Logo’s will need color.  Create at least 2 versions of each selected logo in color for grading by Thursday’s class.  This means you should have finished this step by Thursday morning at 8:45am.  You do not have to go to final, just a layout, so that we as a class can critique your work and select the scheme that works best.

If you check your blog, the logo’s will have been selected for work by Noon of Today.

If you have any questions,  read the assignment again, or email me.

In My Absence

For the next few classes, I will not be there,  we will communicate via blogging.  I would even challenge the class to create your on personal blogs, to post your artwork, and assignments for viewing.  (This would be a good idea, for showing off your work to future employers.  Its also going to be worth a full project grade!  The bad news is, it will take you a few hours to do it right.  The good news is, its free, and easier than a website!

Be sure to follow the instructions on the side for creating a BOX.NET account.  Or you can post your logos within your blog.
